NOTE: These links have JUST been compiled so YOU have access to the information. I did not write any of them, and I was not the first to post links to some of them. Rather than send people all over, I posted them here.
Thanks to Chris Weeks for reminding me I was sitting on these links, with his blog on UBER.com
There is a new poster campaign in London aimed at 'our kind' and by our kind i mean Street Photographers. I have compiled a few articles regarding the new involvment by metropolitan Police.
•Street photographers fear for their art amid climate of suspicion
•Stop the aperture closing on street photography
•Innocent photographer or terrorist?
•Photography rights raised at MP event
•You can't picture this - Video
•Police defend anti-terror photo campaign
•Photographic Rights, and the law
As it says in one of the articles,
"A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Police said the campaign is not intended to target photographers, amateur or professional.
She told us: 'It's part of a counter-terrorism campaign and one element is the camera element.'
Discuss.. What do you think of these ridiculous laws and harassments?
If you are a British Citizen, SIGN the PETITION and show the PM that photographers will not take this laying down!

Creating some NFT art
Hey deviants! Long time no see. For anyone wishing to know what I have been up to in the last... seven? years since I stopped posting on deviantART, I have added my instagram and twitter links to my page. Come and follow me over there! I have been making things, and most recently (this week), turned one of my photos into an NFT! If anyone is collecting non-fungible art, please consider my little collection of tokens! https://rarible.com/baker221b
Where to find me and my work on the web...
I haven't been sharing a lot here on deviantART, as many of you know because of the lack of community felt here recently. I don't think it's a stretch to say things have changed and that this isn't the artistic hub it was a few years ago. Mind you, many improvements have been made, it's just that so many people who I personally interacted with are no longer updating their work here.
You're able to find me online and follow my new work as it happens on my facebook fan page. Head on over and click LIKE because I am hoping to do some sort of giveaway soon.
Straight From Camera on Facebook
Thank's as always to those of you following me. I
New York, NEW YORK, Hell of a town.
New York.
Heading tomorrow.
I had to keep the whole thing a secret from my roommate, who is appearing on a TV show called Operation Vacation. The secret has been going on for about 3 months, and I have known I would go with him for about two.
His work is here - http://bryanmollett.tumblr.com/
Stoked.
If anyone wants to pre-buy a print, $50 (shipping in) for a HAND PRINTED IN DARKROOM print, signed on the back.

I will check back in after. Until then, Ciao.
Computer problems.
Spent 5 hours in total bringing the 5 year old iMac into the Apple store, three of which dealing directly with a Genius, and I must say, after originally throwing a little bit of a fit over the crash, I think I am generally better off for it. (Note, the 'fit' was about other stuff too.. ;) )
I have a newer machine, but there is something about this old slowing down beast that is just too familiar.
Oh, and I am going to be printing in the darkroom soon. Any requests for prints?

in an authoritarian country you don't need to see what the laws say and permit .. you might get in detention or interogated for an hour just because you have a dSLR in the street and was walking "suspeciously" looking when you are trying to compose a good frame .
I am suffering in Egypt, unless i am at the touristic places like the pyramids .
and you know what , the law doesn't prohibit it ! I am a paralegal.
